Late Night Concert Series w/Alex Beltran's Rift

Hailing from Chicago, IL Alex Beltran has been called "a saxophonist of impeccable musicianship" by the Chicago Jazz Magazine.

Alex made a name for himself among active members of the Chicago music scene as well as cross country. He has performed in large and small venues under his own name and with artists such as Jeff Hamilton, Phil Woods, Tim Ries, Ira Sullivan, Luis Bonilla, John Fedchok, Aretha Franklin, The Temptations, The Chicago Yestet and more.

His original group "Merge" has released 2 studio albums or original music that received praise form musicians and critics alike. His debut solo album title "Rift" is set to be released in Spring 2024 on Calligram records and will be the feature for this evenings performance.

In additional to his busy performing schedule, Alex is proud to be a Vandoren Performing Artist and maintains an active teaching schedule helping the younger generation of inquisitive minds discover the beauty of music.
