Together, they create dynamic, deeply textured music rooted in jazz but unafraid to explore the outer edges of sound.\nTheir discography includes three studio albums—Bonzo Squad, There’s Always Tomorrow, and Pachyderm—plus a live record, Live at aliveOne. Their song “Lemons” was featured on Spotify’s State of Jazz playlist, and the band has received praise from DownBeat Magazine and the Chicago Reader. With a long-running residency at aliveOne and standout sets at the Chicago Jazz Fest, Bonzo Squad has earned a reputation as one of the city’s most exciting and consistent live acts.
