DESCRIPTION:Showtimes:  10:00pm\n\nThe Last Minute Jam is the return of the Andy’s Jazz Club Jam Session focused on jazz standards presented by a variety of professional local performing artists. These sessions will tap into the “who’s who” in the Chicago Jazz Scene today as well as welcome up-and-comers the chance to cut their teeth.\nDrummer Charles “Rick” Heath has stepped up to take the helm of this weekly late night jam session. The Last Minute Jam will begin by 10pm. Artists wishing to join the session must sign in by the piano upon arriving in order to be called up on stage to perform.\nThe Jam Session has been a long standing tradition in Jazz throughout the years.  Jam sessions are often used to develop new material, find suitable arrangements, or simply as a social gathering and communal practice session. Jam sessions may be based upon existing songs or forms, may be loosely based on an agreed chord progression or chart suggested by one participant, or may be wholly improvisational.\nYou never know who just may stop in for a quick Jam!\nClick Here For All Reservations\n\n\n
