Ashley Summers's Raison d'Etre

Formed in late 2016, Ashley Summers's Raîson d'Être is Ashley's performance vehicle for her original compositions. The quintet features long-time and like-minded collaborators whose unique artistic voices serve as inspiration for Summers's compositions and blend together to form a dynamic ensemble sound brimming with interplay and intrigue.

The ensemble debuted in Chicago and has since been invited to perform as part of the 2017 Toronto Jazz Festival and the 2017 Chicago Jazz Festival.
