Vibist Thaddeus Tukes & The Joan Collaso Band

    Thaddeus Tukes is a composer, producer, vocalist, and multi-instrumentalist with an emphasis on the vibraphone. He has performed at Carnegie Hall in New York, and Chicago Symphony Orchestra Hall in Chicago. He was ranked top Jazz Vibraphonist in Illinois among high schools, won Kiewitt-Wang Scholarship from Jazz Institute of Chicago, and was a winner of Fidelity FutureStage Young Artists competition during his years at Whitney Young Magnet High School.

Tukes has performed with a plethora of jazz legends, such as Victor Goines, Branford Marsalis, Willie Pickens, Roy Hargrove, and Dee Alexander, amongst others.

In 2015, Thaddeus was named a Luminarts Jazz Fellow was featured at the Hyde Park Jazz Festival. He was also featured on the much anticipated album "Surf" by Donnie Trumpet and the Social Experiment.
