During the mid-winter months, our jazz community rallies together for a week-long jazz festival designed to raise funds for hunger relief in and around the city. Some of Chicago’s most popular jazz artists donate their talents. Festival headliners in the past have included: Bobby Broom, Eric Schneider & Friends, Frank Catalano, Bruce Barth, Steve Million, Sarah Marie Young and MacArthur Genius Grant Winner Reginald Robinson.

80% of Festival proceeds support hunger relief in and around Chicago. Past year donations have helped those who are food insecure through the works of Catholic Charities, Care for Real, Top Box Foods, Friendship Center of Albany Park, the Hyde Park Food Pantry, and the Greater Chicago Food Depository. Remaining funds are reserved to expand the following year’s festival and its revenue potential for continued charitable contribution. The Director, Board and staff of the Festival are all volunteers.

This year’s Festival begins on Sunday, March 5, 2017. Please support our efforts by becoming a Whole Note, Half Note, Quarter Note or Soloist Sponsor. As recognition of your Sponsorship, you and your business will be acknowledged in our media outlets, at Chi-Town Jazz Festival events, and online. Here is a link to the Sponsorship Form for more information on the many ways to become a Sponsor.
